Waikato Uni Open Day 08

Been kinda lazy to update ma blog...actually did intend to put sum pics on other posts bt the connection is just toooo slow..

Spent most of ma morning at 'the place up hill' Waikato Uni...well if u live near me n study in the same school u knw wot i mean by the place up the hill or the place up thr..

Open day is nothing fancy and fun...especially when it rained all day...everybody is trying to gt into shelters n stuff..goin to different subject's 'mini lectures' altho they dont intend to study that subject and stuff..

Overall its good and worth it..worth ma time waking up early to get a ride and walk home..it helps me to set what I want to study next year..next step is to find the school career consultant and see if the subjects im taking fits what i wana study next year....

Its gettin wetter and wetter each day...

Basically we did nth in skol..for eng we did a discussion on the book "Follow the Rabbit Proof Fence"

For stats we went to the comp room..so thr i go..soccernet.com...lol..to chk the scores for the match man utd and roma..
btw GLORY GLORY MAN UTD!perfect header by Teves..and we won without Ronaldo on the field..lol...

For Physics we sat in cls listening to the tcher crap abt stuff which bored most of us...and nearly send us to bed..black crows flew past us the whole lesson cuz of his lame joke....

In business studies we laid back and talk crap...and stuffed Lucas's mouth with 20+mints..ahahha..that made him cry...

International Concert

this year's international concert was a success..but yeah normal issue..not enough seats..
unfortunately I'm one of the back stage crew and performer so I can't take any pics or anythg..bt my sister is kind enough to help me video some of the performances...

sadly facing some problems to load the video up...
hang in there mates..it b soon...I knw I knw..promised some of u to take a vid of it n I did..It b up as soon as i cn gt it working..

for some of you who aint gt any idea wot im on abt..here's a simple summary of wot international concert is..

the international concert is organized by skool n is free for every1 to perform in..as long as you're doing some thing related to your culture or your language..for example...indian dance..chinese tribal dance...chinese pop dance..and etc...not forgetting lion dance..this may sound a lil dodgey or weird bt i did perform as a lion dancer..be4 the concert food stalls selling different food..frm thai to korean to chinese and bla bla bla..

This year unfortunately is my last year of high school the last year to have heaps of fun before the new chapter in life comes

owel...aint wana b a sobber but yeah..

athletics day to most malaysians r like...phuuu..who cares..but..not over here in nz where people dress up in their sport house colours
7 formers bring out the bbq n sofas..while kids juz sit on the grass n stuff..
its a fun day to get tanned and also for some to show their sporty side of life
for me..nah i dont dress up...
